OAK GROVE TECHNOLOGIES TO EXHIBIT AT THE 5TH ANNUAL NATIONAL VETERANS SMALL BUSINESS CONFERENCE

Oak Grove Technologies will be exhibiting at The 5th Annual National Veteran Small Business Conference and Expo. The conference, presented by the Veteran Small Business Federal Interagency Council, will be held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada and run from July 20-23.

The National Veterans Conference has grown substantially each year, this year reaching over 3,000 expected participants. Small and large business owners and federal government representatives will have networking opportunities to share best practices and discuss possible areas of doing business together. This conference is also extremely beneficial to businesses just getting started as there are numerous educational sessions on the life cycle of small business Federal Contracting. Scheduled speakers include Mr. Joseph Jordan, Associate Administrator of Government Contracting and Business Development, GEN (Ret.) Erik K. Shinseki, Secretary of Veterans Affairs, and Mr. Joe Galloway, Author of “We Were Soldiers Once…And Young.”

Additionally, Oak Grove will be hosting UFC fighter, Mike Swick, former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion, Bobby Southworth, and Strikeforce Lightweight Champion, Josh Thomson, at their exhibit July 21 and 22. All three fighters will be available to conference attendees for autographs and photographs while at Oak Grove’s booth.

The Federal Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) Directors Interagency Council’s stated mission is to “exchange information on methods, initiatives, and processes that will permit our respective agencies to more effectively utilize small businesses in our prime contracts and subcontracts to the maximum extent practicable.” The OSDBU Interagency Council is an advocate for the interests of small businesses on federal and national small business initiatives.
