GRAPHICS SPECIALIST RECEIVES AWARD FOR PUBLIC SERVICE

Mobile, AL – Oak Grove’s own Winston Bush, Graphics/Publications Specialist at the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Readiness Support Center, received the Department of the Army Commander’s Award for Public Service.
Mr. Bush was acknowledged for his work on the Emergency Support Function (ESF) #3 Field Guide which provides the USACE with information on tools and initiatives to improve disaster response and recovery operations. The field guide serves as a readily accessible resource with information for the civil emergency responder. It contains checklists, fact sheets, policy memos, and other materials, and is an essential tool for disaster response operations under the National Response Framework. It’s also designed as a training guide to provide a base knowledge for future response and recovery operations.
