OAK GROVE TECHNOLOGIES SPONSORS AMERICAN FREEDOM FESTIVAL

Fairfax, VA – Oak Grove Technologies recently sponsored the 6th Annual American Freedom Festival held at The Patriot Center at George Mason University on November 7.

Oak Grove’s Senior Vice President of Military Affairs, SMA(R) Jack Tilley, is the founder of the American Freedom Foundation, Inc, a 501c(3) public benefit corporation which hosts this annual event. The festival is a concert event organized to honor our nation’s veterans who have sacrificed for our freedom, and to raise money and awareness for various veteran organizations and military families. The foundation directs special emphasis towards the welfare and educational issues facing those wounded in action, and families and children of veterans killed in action during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. This year’s festival featured country music singers Montgomery Gentry, Phil Vassar and Lee Ann Womack.

“Another extraordinary turnout!” Exclaimed SMA(R) Tilley in regards to the event. “I would like to extend my greatest appreciation and thanks to the many who so generously donated this year. Because of your generosity, our foundation was able to raise over $200,000 on behalf of our wounded warriors and their families. It is such an incredible feeling when you get that many folks together to support such an important cause.”
