ASVAB PROJECT TEAM PARTICIPATES IN EDUCATION/MILITARY COLLABORATIVE GROUP MEETING

Washington, DC – Denise Lawson, Senior VP, Strategy and Kriza Jennings, Project Manager, attended a meeting today of the Education/Military Collaborative Group in Washington, D.C. Established by the Department of Education, this collaborative group works to promote inter-agency partnerships, share information on initiatives/programs and to identify ways to leverage resources. 

Oak Grove’s client, Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC), includes the ASVAB project team at these meetings to assist in discussing the project work and websites for the ASVAB Career Exploration Program and Careers in the Military. 

The ASVAB project team is scheduled to co-present with representatives from the Education/Military Collaborative Group at the National Career Development Association’s July 2010 conference to be held in California. The team also co-presented with Department of Education staff on behalf of the Collaborative Group at the annual Career Clusters Institute conference in June 2009. Both presentations feature the two websites maintained and developed by Oak Grove Technologies staff for DMDC.
