OAK GROVE SUPPORTS AMERICAN LEGION
Thursday, October 07th, 2010
Andrews Air Force Base, MD – Oak Grove supports the American Legion’s Heroes to Hometowns 3rd Annual Golf Classic.
“Heroes to Hometowns” is a transition program for severely injured Servicemembers returning home from Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. “Heroes to Hometowns” establishes a support network and coordinates resources for those Servicemembers.
The event raised money for the Legacy Scholarship program, which ensures children of active duty military killed at war have the opportunity to receive federal money toward a college education.
If you are a Servicemember, Veteran, or direct family member of a Servicemember or Veteran who has been severely injured, please fill out the Heroes to Hometowns assistance request form.
