OAK GROVE DEVELOPS MULTIMEDIA COURSES FOR THE VA

Oak Grove Technologies has entered its third year as a prime contractor for the Department of Veterans Affairs on the VA Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) contract. This contract provides the Employee Education System (EES) with educational and electronic multimedia products. Our team of professionals—curriculum developers, instructional designers, graphic artists, multimedia developers, and programmers—has designed and developed 30+ hours of interactive, web-based courseware for the VA. 

Upcoming projects include two courses targeted at the need for clinicians to understand the prevalence and scope of suicide and suicidal behavior among women Veterans and among older Veterans. These courses will train clinicians to recognize specific warning signs and protective factors in these two populations and to understand the treatment process for someone who is suicidal. Oak Grove will script and film extensive video scenarios to help illustrate different case studies.
