Fort Huachuca, AZ - Oak Grove Technologies recently exhibited at the 26th Annual C4I Systems Technology Exhibition at Historic Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Sponsored by the Southern Arizona Chapter Armed Forces Communications-Electronics Association (AFCEA), this annual event gives government and industry an opportunity to come together to demonstrate and discuss the latest C4I technologies, products, and services.
Senior Vice President of Business Development, Frank Beaty, said “As always, the C4I show provided Oak Grove with an excellent opportunity to showcase our technology and training services. The contacts made there were great; we expect to follow up on many of them. We were also able to connect with Oak Grove team members from our HUMINT contract located at Fort Huachuca Arizona while attending this show. Oak Grove looks forward to the opportunity to become involved with more AFCEA events in 2009.”
The AFCEA has 135 different chapters in over 30 countries and is one of the world’s premier C4I professional societies. Members include political, military, and industry leaders, and the society often serves as an ethical bridge between government requirements and industry's capabilities.
The Southern Arizona Chapter of AFCEA provides an ethical forum for government and industry to share information for the purpose of improving government's requirements and material development processes. They also sponsor luncheons to further understanding of relevant technical concepts to benefit members of Fort Huachuca and Sierra Vista. All proceeds go toward sponsoring the AFCEA scholarship program and grant program to assist local schools and students in science and technology fields.
