Jill Marsh receives an award of commendation from VP of Defense & Special Ops, Wade Owens.Ms. Jill Marsh, Oak Grove Exercise Support Cell Logistics and Supply Technician for Camp Mackall Support Company, Support Battalion, 1ST Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne), USAJFKSWCS, Fort Bragg, NC received significant praise and commendation from the government agency she supports for her role in managing a complex and difficult transition/closeout action for a major procurement activity/program.

The procurement activity/program was a linchpin in providing support and services to all U. S. Army Special Warfare Center and School training programs conducted at Camp Mackall. With less than two weeks’ notice, Ms. Marsh was responsible for accelerating mission critical procurement actions that would normally require 30 plus days lead time. Her efforts ensured over 1500 Cadre and students received essential services necessary to continue their numerous training programs without interruption and without compromising the safety and well-being of those involved in these demanding training programs.  As Ms. Marsh is well liked and respected by all at Camp Mackall for her sense of humor, strong work ethic and subject matter expertise, the senior Commander for Camp Mackall stated it came as no surprise that Ms. Marsh was responsible for this successful activity. Ms. Marsh, showing her sense of humor, thanked the Commander and advised all that “and you thought I was just a simple girl from Rowan County”.
