The AE Finley YMCA of the Triangle sponsors a number of after school programs Monday thru Friday in Wake County elementary schools that are funded entirely by generous donations.  One of these programs is the Y Learning program.  Y Learning is a standardized tutorial program, for students in grades K – 8 who struggle to reach school-system benchmarks. Most Y Learning students have limited financial and educational support at home.

This past year, Oak Grove Technologies Founder and CEO, Mark Gross, pledged the resources that enabled the YMCA to open their first program in a middle school at Carroll Magnet Middle School where many children face the most challenging times in their young lives. The program at Carroll currently includes 24 energetic students who are coached, mentored and taught by several teachers/guidance counselors and a number of dedicated volunteers from the Finley Y.

Oak Grove Technologies is proud to sponsor such a worthwhile program that encourages the development of our youth, healthy living and social responsibility.
